SEA (Società Esercizi Aeroportuali) Group manages both Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Milan Linate (LIN) airports systems based on a forty-year agreement signed in 2001 with ENAC. Malpensa and Linate are among the top ten airports in Europe by passenger volume and among the top five by cargo volume, whereas at the national level the Milan airport system is Italy’s second-largest in terms of passenger traffic and number-one in the cargo segment and general aviation.
In 2021 we were commissioned by SEA Milan Airports to manage the obtaining of Level 4+ “Transition” for the Milan Malpensa and Linate terminals, the last level of ACA accreditation. Our services included updating our own and third-party emissions inventory, as well as adapting the Carbon Management Plan, involving the definition of decarbonization trajectories by 2050 with their intermediate objectives. We also intervene in the emissions compensation process, managing the acquisition of carbon certificates.
